  4.         OK, so the fixture lists have been created, the predictions
  5.         made, the bets placed, and you now know whether or not you
  6.         are a millionaire - no?  Well, in that case we'd better tell
  7.         Pro-Football all about what happened, so that it can do
  8.         better next week.
  9.  
  10.         First of all, you must have results for all of the matches
  11.         in your fixture file. Any that you don't enter at this stage
  12.         cannot be entered later on. This doesn't present a problem
  13.         though, as the average user will only use the program once
  14.         or twice a week - all you need to do is wait until all the
  15.         results come in, then enter them.

  17.         Another point to note is that you SHOULD NOT MESS AROUND
  18.         with the results area of the program. It's OK to experiment
  19.         with the fixture list and prediction stuff, but if you do
  20.         that with the results section, you will completely muck up
  21.         the data already stored - not a good idea!

  23.         Now that's the lectures over with, lets get on with the
  24.         task of entering results.

  26.         Pro-Football will ask for each result in turn. All you need
  27.         to do is click on the appropriate score for each team.
  28.         When the correct score is displayed, click on OK to progress
  29.         to the next game.
  30.         If you make a mistake, click CLEAR, if a result is
  31.         unavailable, then click NO RESULT.

  33.         (You can enter the results on the keyboard if you prefer,
  34.         using the normal number keys along the top for the home
  35.         team, and the numerical key-pad keys for the away one -
  36.         If you have an A600 then you can't - sorry!)

  38.         When all the results have been entered, the internal
  39.         statistics will be updated, and the fixture file deleted, as
  40.         it is no longer required.
